This cow is a powerhouse! We saw her in 2016 with JSF Unmarked 2D on her as a calf. She was awesome, and he was too – he has gone on to win Champion ribbons across Canada and his 2019-drop calves here are something else!
6Y is a daughter of Upto Specs Ulysses 25U, who himself is a star in the Speckle Park breed, and we produced eight purebred calves by her in 2018 by Codiak Spencer GNK 52B (GNK 52B). Six bulls and two heifers. The 6Y/Spencer calves will be real head-turners at our sale on March 27, 2020.… Continue reading →

This eye-catching cow gave us two heifers in 2017 (JAD N60 and JAD N44, the latter of which is now one of our first donor dams) and we registered eight calves out of her by Upto Specs Ulysses 25U in 2018. 260Y produced JSF Rawhide 260D, a young bull we saw as a weaner on our 2016 visit to Johner Stock Farm in Canada, and is now owned by Minnamurra Speckle Parks. 260Y will have both bulls and PTIC purebred females in our 2020 sale.

JSF 43C has bred the house down here, in what you would call a “perfect result”! Four embryos, four absolutely outstanding heifers born and raised! These four Spencer daughters were ball-tearers from birth. We lost one to pneumonia and the remaining three are all in the top 20% of our 2018-drop of purebred heifers. We are planning on offering one of them as a pregnant heifer at our 2020 sale. Now to choose which one … that won’t be an easy call to make!
43C is in her own right a super stylish female, with that eye-appeal we all like… Continue reading →

We really liked JSF 19B when we saw her as a young heifer in 2016 at Johner Stock Farm in Canada. She had bred a lovely first calf, and was a daughter of Miss Sage 5R (SAGE 5R), which was another cow we put big ticks against on our tour. We saw a photo of an absolutely outstanding 19B daughter by HS Untapped 3A (HSF 3A) and knew we wanted a piece of that on our place! Along came JAD 3A MISS SAGE P24 in September, 2018, and she has grown into exactly what we had hoped. Keep an eye… Continue reading →

8R is well-regarded as one of the best females in the breed. She bred well for us in 2017, producing two heifers and a bull. We retained one of the heifers, JAD 58Y Unique N4 (JAD N4), and she has become a successful donor dam in our program. Her 2019-drop calves are still young but starting off on the right foot – we’re very happy with them.
We had another 8R daughter born in 2018 – JAD 54Z Unique P1 (JAD P1). She is by River Hill 60W Line Drive 54Z (BED 54Z) – the sire of the top-priced bull… Continue reading →

JSF Midnight Lady 2C has been one of the most successful dams of our 2018-drop. She produced five heifer calves – all by Codiak Spencer GNK 52B (GNK 52B) – and the four that made it to yearling age are crackers! They’re larger-framed without being excessive, long, and so, so correct. Keep an eye out for one in our March 2020 sale!
2C has a really interesting pedigree. She is by Legacy Unrivaled son, Codiak Acres Hear the Ghost GNK 22Z, which is a bull that the Johners in Canada really thought a lot of. She is out of another… Continue reading →

We produced six offspring of Redneck Ranach’s Ursula 7U (SDS 7U) in 2018, by Codiak Spencer GNK 52B (GNK 52B). We put three big ticks next to her name upon inspection at Johner Stock Farm in Canada in 2016. This is a new bloodline to Australia. Her calves are moderate and well-made, and she is herself an eye-catching female.

We loved this cow when we saw her in the paddock at Johner Stock Farm, Canada, in 2016 – so much so that our notes for her say, “Awesome cow. Best feet we’ve seen in Canada so far. Flush her ASAP!” That is all despite her being a 2005-drop cow! She’s no Spring chicken! We have used her extensively in our 2018-drop of calves as well as a lovely daughter, JSF Miss Sage 19B (JSF 19B). We used her again in our 2019-drop, with eight more 5R progeny on the ground – by Codiak Calvin GNK 58Y… Continue reading →

This tidy cow from the Johner Stock Farm herd has bred really well for us. She bred two lovely females here in 2018, and we’re planning on offering one of them pregnant at our March 2020 sale.

Ponderosa Spots A Roarin 19Y offers a somewhat different pedigree for Australia, but far back in the pedigree we do see breed legends such as HWY 4. Speckle Park 2H (“the Baker bull”), and Clear View Ty 205R. We really liked her 2016-drop speckled bull calf when we saw him as a weaner in late-2016, and we bred 11 2018-drop sons and daughters by either HS Untapped 3A (HSF 3A) or Codiak Spencer GNK 52B). 19Y is also the dam of JSF Midnight Lady 2C (JSF 2C), who bred four cracking 2018-drop daughters for us in 2018.
