JAD 61Y Tori N1 (JAD N1) | JAD Speckle Park
JAD N1 was our very first purebred calf born at JAD and what a cracker she has turned out to be! She is out of one of the breed’s great dams in Upto Specs Tori 10T, who is the dam of one of out most successful donor dams from our 2017-drop, Codiak Belinda GNK 66A (dam of the top-priced bull and female). JAD N1 is by Codiak Putnam GNK 61Y, who has breeds great milk into his females and moderate birthweights.
We flushed N1 to New Zealand super sire, Maungahina Kidman’s Cove (MAU K247), as a heifer, producing our very first purebred calves of 2019, JAD Q1 and JAD Q2. It’s early days but both of these bull calves are looking the goods!
JAD N1 is homozygous polled (PcPc), homozygous black for coat colour (RGF), and a myostatin non-carrier (NC).
