Next sale. Next level.
The JAD Speckle Park breeding program is going from strength to strength, as we build on our base of top quality foundation females, and edge closer each year to our stud’s breeding objective.
There will be two opportunities to secure JAD genetics in 2025:
- 7th JAD Speckle Park Bull + Female Sale – Friday, 4 April, 2025. On-property at Yeoval, Central West NSW. Offering 50 registered Speckle Park bulls, 35 PTIC registered heifers, 25 PTIC F1 commercial Speckle Park heifers (in pens of 5 and 10), and exclusive embryo and semen packages.
- 2nd JAD Speckle Park and Angus QLD Bull Sale – Friday, 22 August 2025. This sale will once again be held at Rolleston Livestock & Grain, Dip Road, Rolleston, Central QLD. Offering 60 Speckle Park and Angus bulls.
The JAD program has become known among commercially-focussed operators as a “go-to” stud for quality, functional Speckle Park and Angus cattle. Our biggest advertisement is the high percentage of repeat clientele to JAD. The JAD Speckle Park program is one of the largest in the world, with more 2023-drop cattle registered by JAD than any other Speckle Park seedstock program globally. The cream has to fight its way to the top at JAD, ensuring the cattle that make our sale teams are among the best that the Speckle Park breed has to offer.
We invest heavily in breed-leading genetics, and utilise AI/ET to grow our program with the best genetics we can find to reflect our breeding objectives. All animals are performance-recorded from birth, and are independently assessed for structure and temperament by renowned beef consultant, Dick Whale, Independent Breeding & Marketing Services (IBMS), Wangaratta VIC. Our breeding philosophy is the same, across both the Speckle Park and Angus breeds.
JAD Speckle Park was the first Speckle Park stud to achieve the maximum five-star Breedplan Completeness of Performance Rating – having held this rating since our 2017-drops – meaning we put in the hard yards to ensure the most accurate data is contributed to Breedplan towards the formulation of Estimated Breeding Values (EBVs). JAD always has and always will have a commercial focus in all that we do.
We measure often and cull heavily, to give our clients confidence in their relationship with us. We’re here for the long term and stand behind our animals. Our obligation as responsible seedstock producers is to ensure value from your investment. With longevity and fertility as our cornerstone breeding objectives, foundations are laid well in advance of your investment. We look forward to working with our clients in a long-term relationship.
