Upto Specs Ulysses 25U needs no introduction in the Speckle Park world. This Canadian sire was purchased by the Kiziak family of Codiak Acres, Alberta, Canada, after they saw him as a nine-year-old bull and were so impressed with his longevity. His semen has topped international markets in recent years, both in Canada and Australia, and we were fortunate to access embryos by him and out of one of the leading power cows at Johner Stock Farm, Yasemin of Uneeda 260Y. We registered eight 2018-drop progeny of this mating, with the best of these sold at our 2020 sale.
Pedigrees don’t come much flashier than that of Ulysses. He is by one of the breed greats in Raven Meadows Magnum 10N – sire of other renowned animals in the breed such as Crikey, Good Golly 11U, Ure Okay 10U, Upto Specs Tori 10T, Upto Spec Teeka 8T … the list is long. If you see 10N in a pedigree, you know it’s worth a second look.
Then on the dam side, Ulysses is out of Prairie Hill Reba 154F herself! She has been such a reliable breeder in her own right, producing Codiak Mr. Black (the dam of Codiak Unique 8R), Upto Specs Teeka 8T (yes, 8T and Ulysses are full siblings), Six Star Rare Commodity, and so many more.
