JAD 58Y Unique N4 (JAD N4) | JAD Speckle Park
Pedigrees don’t come much more well-known than that of JAD 58Y Unique N4 (JAD N4). But none of that matters much unless the animal is structurally right and breeds on. This cow does! With Codiak Trump and Silver Fox 64L on the top side, and as a direct daughter of one of the breed’s most renowned donor dams, Codiak Unique GNK 8R, JAD N4 was bred to work.
We flushed this superior female to New Zealand super sire, Maungahina Legacy (MAU L260), producing three ET heifers and a bull. Our beef consultant, Dick Whale, Independent Breeding & Marketing Services (IBMS), Wangaratta, VIC, scored the bull a perfect 8/8 for important traits around structure, docility, doing ability, sheath, doing ability, stature and capacity. The three sisters all scored 7/8. We offered one of the sisters, JAD L260 Unique Q33 (JAD Q33), at our 2021 annual on-property sale and she sold for $40,000 to Toebelle Speckle Park, in what was a new Australasian record for a Speckle Park heifer. The bull, JAD Quip ‘n Jest Q56 (JAD Q56), sold for $24,000 at the same sale.
With superb feet, udder, temperament, outstanding doing ability, JAD N4 is going to be one to remember!
