Ravenworth Invictus 103C (GDB 103C)

Tuesday, November 26, 2019

We have seen Ravenworth Invictus 103C on two trips to Canada now and have thought so much of him that we imported both semen and embryos by him. We feel privileged to be selected by the Berting family of Ravenworth Cattle Speckle Park, Canada, as the very first people in the world to purchase Ravenworth embryos, and for that we are very grateful. We produced 20 purebred Invictus progeny in 2019 and 2020, including JAD Qualified Q95 (JAD Q95), was was the equal top-priced bull at the 2021 JAD Sale when he sold for $34,000 to repeat clients, Wendy… Continue reading

Maungahina Kidmans Cove (MAU K247)

Tuesday, November 26, 2019

We have invested more in Maungahina Kidmans Cove than any other Speckle Park sire – and we think a LOT of this bull. Kidmans Cove was bred by the McKenzie family of Maungahina Stud – a family we have come to grow immense respect for as cattlemen, and a great friendship as well. Cove has been a very highly used bull across both the beef and dairy industries in New Zealand and Australia. He has inherited the carcase and marbling traits of his sire, Falcon (highest IMF bull of any breed in NZ in his year). A Kidmans Cove son,… Continue reading

Premier 101Y Logic L11 (PMR L11)

Tuesday, November 26, 2019

Premier Logic is a larger-framed Speckle Park bull while maintaining excellent feet, legs and movement. We used him heavily in our commercial operation in 2018, and backed up in 2019 with the purchase of several Logic embryos produced by his breeders, Derek and Catherina Hayward, Premier Cattle Company, New Zealand. Logic produces super stylish females and the structure in his calves is outstanding.

We saw Logic on our first Speckle Park tour to New Zealand in 2017, and his dam, H2, is one of the best in the Premier herd. Logic is in the top 1% of the breed… Continue reading

JSF Wall Street 36E (JSF 36E)

Tuesday, November 26, 2019

We have seen Wall Street on two trips to Canada, as well as his dam, 7W, who is also the dam of Minnamurra Speckle Parks’ highly successful sire, Redneck JSF Whiskey 4B. Whiskey is the sire of our resident sires, Minnamurra Marlin M4 and Minnamurra Montezuma M25. Wall Street is all bull – thick, deep, soft. He has a beautiful disposition and is breeding on true to type. His calves are small born with good early growth and a medium mature frame. The Johner family, Johner Stock Farm, Canada, brought some super old semen out of the tank to produce… Continue reading

Mainstream Eldorado E11 (MSM E11)

Tuesday, November 26, 2019

We produced Eldorado progeny here in 2018, 2019, and 2020. His females are very well-made with stylish profiles, great softness and thickness, and they are very quiet. The Eldorado sons have great mascularity, and an early maturity pattern – they are terrific carcase bulls. Eldorado had an IMF of 6.5 and has been a hugely successful sire in the breed, both in his home country of New Zealand and here in Australia.

Minnamurra Montezuma M25 (MPC M25)

Tuesday, November 26, 2019

Minnamurra Montezuma M25 is a bull with terrific weight-for-age, a deep soft muscle pattern, combined with balance and sire appeal. The dam, Minnamurra Nice Lady G8, is also the dam of Minnamurra Leander L81, who sold for $35,000 at the 2017 Minnamurra bull sale to set a new Australian record for a Speckle Park bull. “Monty” is a sire that is having a big impact on the breed, with 337 progeny registered with Speckle Park International (SPI) as at January 2025, and more in Canada. He has produced several sale-topping sires, including the $55,000 top-priced bull of the 2023 JAD… Continue reading

River Hill 60W Line Drive 54Z (BED 54Z)

Tuesday, May 15, 2018

The Ducherer family of River Hill Farm are known for their quality females and they produced a great female-maker in Line Drive. We loved his females when we saw him and his daughters on our 2016 visit to Canada. Line Drive was Grand Champion Bull at Farmfair and the Lloydminster Stockade, and placed Reserve Champion Bull at Agribition in 2012 and 2013.

Line Drive sired the top-priced bull AND female at our inaugural JAD Speckle Park Bull + Female Sale in March, 2019. He produced a cracking daughter as part of our 2018-drop, and we had more Line Drive… Continue reading

Line Drive sired the top-priced bull AND female at our inaugural JAD Speckle Park Bull + Female Sale in March, 2019. He produced a cracking daughter as part of our 2018-drop, and we had more Line Drive progeny as part of our 2020-drop. Line Drive has certainly bred exceptionally well here for us and we are looking forward to seeing what his JAD progeny produce in the years to come.
