This daughter of the great 8R oozes style and she’s put it into her calves too.

We really liked JSF 19B when we saw her as a young heifer in 2016 at Johner Stock Farm in Canada. She had bred a lovely first calf, and was a daughter of Miss Sage 5R (SAGE 5R), which was another cow we put big ticks against on our tour. We saw a photo of an absolutely outstanding 19B daughter by HS Untapped 3A (HSF 3A) and knew we wanted a piece of that on our place! Along came JAD 3A MISS SAGE P24 in September, 2018, and she has grown into exactly what we had hoped. Keep an eye… Continue reading
JSF Midnight Lady 2C has been one of the most successful dams of our 2018-drop. She produced five heifer calves – all by Codiak Spencer GNK 52B (GNK 52B) – and the four that made it to yearling age are crackers! They’re larger-framed without being excessive, long, and so, so correct. Keep an eye out for one in our March 2020 sale!
2C has a really interesting pedigree. She is by Legacy Unrivaled son, Codiak Acres Hear the Ghost GNK 22Z, which is a bull that the Johners in Canada really thought a lot of. She is out of another… Continue reading
We produced six offspring of Redneck Ranach’s Ursula 7U (SDS 7U) in 2018, by Codiak Spencer GNK 52B (GNK 52B). We put three big ticks next to her name upon inspection at Johner Stock Farm in Canada in 2016. This is a new bloodline to Australia. Her calves are moderate and well-made, and she is herself an eye-catching female.
We loved this cow when we saw her in the paddock at Johner Stock Farm, Canada, in 2016 – so much so that our notes for her say, “Awesome cow. Best feet we’ve seen in Canada so far. Flush her ASAP!” That is all despite her being a 2005-drop cow! She’s no Spring chicken! We have used her extensively in our 2018-drop of calves as well as a lovely daughter, JSF Miss Sage 19B (JSF 19B). We used her again in our 2019-drop, with eight more 5R progeny on the ground – by Codiak Calvin GNK 58Y… Continue reading
This tidy cow from the Johner Stock Farm herd has bred really well for us. She bred two lovely females here in 2018, and we’re planning on offering one of them pregnant at our March 2020 sale.
Ponderosa Spots A Roarin 19Y offers a somewhat different pedigree for Australia, but far back in the pedigree we do see breed legends such as HWY 4. Speckle Park 2H (“the Baker bull”), and Clear View Ty 205R. We really liked her 2016-drop speckled bull calf when we saw him as a weaner in late-2016, and we bred 11 2018-drop sons and daughters by either HS Untapped 3A (HSF 3A) or Codiak Spencer GNK 52B). 19Y is also the dam of JSF Midnight Lady 2C (JSF 2C), who bred four cracking 2018-drop daughters for us in 2018.
Now here is a pedigree worth studying! JSF Paddy 16C was one of Justin Johner’s favourites as a heifer in the Johner Stock Farm herd, Canada, and she has produced sure-footed, moderate, low birthweight calves here. 16C is out of the great Paddy cow and by a Legacy Unrivaled son, Hear the Ghost, which has bred really well for the Johners. Check out some sweet 16C daughters in our March 2020 sale!
