Second sales are always difficult, and we knew increasing numbers by 24 bulls at a second sale was verging on crazy. But we knew the bulls were good, and we were thrilled when a large gallery of new and repeat clients agreed at the 2nd JAD Speckle Park & Angus QLD Bull Sale, held at Rolleston, Central Queensland, on Friday, August 22, 2025.
Our whole family and team thoroughly enjoyed our trip to Rolleston, and are grateful to everyone who helped the event become such a success. The result was icing on the cake, really, giving us a real kick-along to continue our program with gusto. Thank you!
In all, 58/59 bulls sold to average $10,224, and top at $30,000 for the Lot 45 commercial Speckle Park bull, JAD U507 – a son of our New Zealand sire, Maungahina Promise, who exhibited outstanding structure, docility, and overall presence. His new owners – a former Droughtmaster stud – came specifically to buy him, after being impressed by him in his pre-sale video.
